Rustemul (Romania)


Rusternul (Roo-STEH-mool) is from the region of Muntenia, southern Romania. It was learned by Mihai David during the years 1963-65 while dancing with the Romanian State Folk Dance Ensemble and presented by him at the 1972 Kolo Festival in San Francisco and then again at the 1974 University Of the Pacific Folk Dance Camp in Stockton, California.
