Hora de Mina (Romania)



Hora de Mina (HOH-rah day MUH-nuh) was learned by Mihai David while he was a member of the Romanian State Folk Ensemble, 1965-68. This version of the dance is from Oltenis and was presented by Mihai David at the Santa Barbara Folk Dance Symposium in 1977 and by his brother, Alexandru, at the 1978 University of the Pacific Folk Dance Camp.
