Scandia Camp Mendocino 2025 will be ONLINE via Zoom this year. Free Registration – NO Charge to attend!
Session 1: 10am PDT – Peter Michaelsen will teach some new tunes for Group Playing/Allspel. Likely they will be a schottische, waltz and . . . All instruments are welcome
Session 2: noon PDT – John Ole Morken will tell us about the Norwegian Folk Music Radio Hour. The radio program has been on air for almost 100 years. It has influenced musicians and dancers throughout the Nordic countries. Learn more about it’s contributions to Nordic folk traditions.
The mission of Scandia Camp Mendocino is to provide culturally unique enriching opportunities to learn about and actively experience the dance, music and cultural traditions of Scandinavia (primarily Norway and Sweden) in a welcoming community.
