Come to Dance – Hungarian Film Screening

Come to Dance!
Curious about the unspoken rules in folk dance — who leads, who follows, what’s “allowed,” and why?
On February 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM, join us for a powerful documentary screening + community conversation about boundaries, gender roles, and tradition in folk dance — then and now.
After the film, we’ll have a discussion with director Júlia Redő, joining us live on Zoom from Hungary 🇭🇺✨
Those who wish to stay are also invited to a shared circle conversation to reflect together, share personal experiences, and listen to one another.
🎥 Film screened in Hungarian with English subtitles
🎟️ Free admission
❤️ Donations are welcome to help cover the director’s honorarium for moderating.
Come watch, reflect, and connect with the community — dancers and non-dancers welcome!
Location: Hungarian Reformed Church, 35660 Cedar Blvd, Newark, CA 94560
