Chubritza

Chubritza, based in Arcata, plays Balkan and international folk music on traditional instruments. The band, named after a Bulgarian table spice, reflects a variety of international musical tastes and textures, with a Balkan and Eastern European emphasis. Band members: Meadow Lo, Craig Kurumada, Linnea Mandell, Derek Shaw, Rick Kruse, Janet Finney-Krull.
