• Stockton Folk Dance Camp A week-long dance event in late-July/early August, featuring a faculty of international folk dance teachers from around the world. Over 60 years old! Includes a collection of dance notations for dances taught at Stockton.
• Sacramento Council Everything you need to know about dancing in the Sacramento area.
• Changs Folk Dancers The first international folk dance community in Northern California and still going strong.

• Statewide Festival This yearly festival held on or near Memorial Day Weekend, alternates between Northern California (even-numbered years) and Southern California (odd-numbered years). Sonoma is the site for the 2010 Statewide Festival.

• Southwest International Folk Dance Institute, sponsors an annual summer folk dance camp ("August Camp" in Socorro, N.M., just south of Albuquerque.
