DESCRIPTION:1967 was The Summer of Love when the hippies descended on San Francisco. Hippies were in the news everywhere and set the fashion trend for most of that year. The Saratoga Folk Dancers are having an end-of-summer-quarter dance party and it seemed like a great excuse to revisit those fashions. \nWhy not dress in tie-dye and flowered shirts and jeans\, peace symbol jewelry or strings of beads\, a headband or spray of flowers in your hair\, big sunglasses\, a fringed vest. Type “hippie fashion” into your favorite search engine and then click on “images” and you’ll get plenty of ideas. \nCome on — it’ll be fun. Think of the great photos we can take! \nThe LAST Thursday before Labor Day ==> August 31. Easier dances the first hour. BRING A SMALL SNACK TO SHARE.
