He will be remembered by his friends and family for his smart and kind demeanor\, and his many joys in life – his wife Pat\, their folk dancing endeavors\, his running and hiking activities\, his education and engineering career\, and his love of people and the outdoors. \nBorn in 1932 in the Russian community of Harbin\, China\, his family immigrated to San Francisco in 1936.
