SUMMARY:Cretan Dance Workshop with Nikos Vertoudos
DESCRIPTION:Greek Feet is pleased to host Nikos Vertoudos from Iraklion\, Crete Greece.  Nikos grew up dancing in villages of Crete and is a member of the well known Cretan dance troupe\, Mavrokostas.  We had the pleasure of having Niko teach us last year and we are looking forward to his return.  He has taught at the Holy Cross Church troupe in Belmont where they won awards for their Cretan Suite at the annual Greek Orthodox Folk Dance Festival.   \nJoin us for an informative workshop where we will explore the major dances of Crete.  In previous workshops\, we had a great time with Niko\, learning basic Cretan dances and learning styling technique\, variations and tips on leading.  Plus it was a true pleasure watching and dancing with Niko.  An opportunity not to be missed!
