Admission to everything is free! \nThe San Francisco Free Folk Festival relies on donations and sponsors to cover their expenses. All the performers and workshop leaders donate their time and talent. Many of them are members of the San Francisco Folk Music Club. \nThe festival is run by the San Francisco Folk Music Club\, a non-profit organization that was founded in 1948 and is still going strong. Currently based in Pennsylvania\, Željko teaches at workshops\, camps and festivals throughout the United States\, Canada\, Europe and Asia. \nCroatian crestŽeljko was inspired at the age of 7 to begin dancing after attending a theater performance of Croatia’s state ensemble “LADO” with his father. The costumes and singing had an immediate effect on him from the moment the curtain opened and he knew he wanted to join the group. At the age of 18 that dream became a reality when he became a member of the prestigious ensemble LADO.
