 We appreciative donations of materials for the library, and money for scholarships, and to keep camp alive. Remember us in your  trust planning.  This is your chance to invest in the future of our dance movement. You have the opportunity to become a contributing member of our family.  All donations are tax deductible.  No contribution is too small. You can make a difference.

Folk Dance Materials For  UOP Library

If you have materials related to folk dancing, Stockton Folk Dance Camp oversees the donation of such material to the Lawton Harris Collection of Folk Dance Materials in the UOP Library. For further information contact Bruce Mitchell at (530)888-6586 or dancebruce@aol.com.

Monetary Donations

Stockton Folk Dance Camp accepts monetary donations to three primary funds: the Scholarship fund, Library fund, and the Jack McKay Endowment. Camp also accepts direct donation to this year's operational expenses.

Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship fund provides help to dancers, who otherwise could not come to camp.  Scholarship recipients are expected to perform a job at camp.  A donation to this fund helps send a deserving dancer to camp and helps provide the extra man/womanpower that helps camp run smoothly.

Library Fund

The Library fund supports the conversion of the Lawton Harris Collection of Folk Dance Materials to usable digital formats and adds in the purchases of modern storage equipment.

Jack McKay Endowment

The Jack McKay Endowment, establish by a $50,000, challenge donation from Dr. Steven Turner, which our other members met, provides funding for the extras that make camp fun.  A donation to this fund helps guarantee the financial stability of Folk Dance Camp.. Your support will help with the continuation of live music, more banquets, and with the high quality of instructors brought to Stockton every year. Any gift, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
